Green & Yellow naturally sweetened vegan lattes

Ingredients

 

Green latte

  • 2 cups plant-based milk

  • (I prefer coconut or almond milk)

  • 1 tbsp organic matcha powder

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (or sweetener of choice)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • lavender or  pistacia for decoration

 

 

 

 

Yellow latte

  • 2 cups plant-based milk (I prefer coconut or almond milk)

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1 tsp fresh turmeric (or ground)

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (or sweetener of choice)

  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger

  • pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. In a small saucepan, add coconut milk, almond milk, turmeric, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, coconut oil, and sweetener of choice for the Yellow Latte or add coconut milk, almond milk, matcha powder, coconut oil, and sweetener of choice for the Green Latte.

  2. Whisk to combine and warm over medium heat. Heat until hot to the touch but not boiling - about 4 minutes - whisking frequently.

  3. Turn off heat and taste to adjust flavor.

 

Tip

Use a milk frother to make it creamy and foamy, or let the blender do the magic in 2 mins.
